Mommy or Daddy & Me  
6 - 36 months
For infants and toddlers who are new to the swimming pool. Parents learn how to work safely and effectively with children. Swim cap, swim diaper and rubber pants with bathing suit required.

6 – 18 Months
W  Sundays, 9:30 - 10 a.m.
Wednesdays, 10-10:30 a.m.

18 – 36 Months
W  Sundays, 10 – 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.
W  Saturday, 9:30 – 10 a.m.(6-36 Month)

 

Almost Ready  
2 – 5 years (with parent)
This program is designed for children who are comfortable in the water and are getting ready to swim without a parent. Some children may experience separation anxiety, but are comfortable swimming. Parent is required to be in the water. Swim cap, swim diaper and rubber pants with bathing suit required.

W  Sundays, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Wednesdays, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
W  Saturday 10 -10:30 a.m.

 

Ready Now  
2 – 5 years
This program is designed to be your child’s first experience in the water without a parent. Focus will be on the continued development of swimming fundamentals and safety. Swim cap, swim diaper and rubber pants with bathing suit required.

W  Sundays, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Preschool Swim Classes
Ages 3 – 5

Preschool Level I - Minnows
This program orients children to the aquatic environment and helps them gain basic aquatic skills. Children must be comfortable without a parent in the water.

W  Sundays, 10 - 10:30 a.m.
Wednesdays, 10:30 – 11 a.m

 

Preschool Level 2 – Guppies
This program is designed to help children gain greater independence in their skills and develop more comfort in and around the water. Children must be comfortable without a parent in the water.

W  Sundays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Wednesdays, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
W  Saturday, 9:30-10 a.m.

 

Preschool Level 3 – Tadpoles
This program helps children start to gain basic swimming propulsive skills to be comfortable in and around water. Children must be comfortable without a parent in the water.

W  Sundays, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Wednesdays, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
W  Saturday, 10-10:30 a.m.

 

Youth Swim Classes
Ages 6 – 9

Level I – Angelfish (introduction to water skills)
Helps participants feel comfortable in the water. This course is designed for the beginner. Children will learn to put their faces in the water, float, kick and get ready for more advanced skills.

W  Sundays, 9:30 – 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Wednesdays, 4 – 4:30 p.m.
W  Saturday, 10:30 – 11 a.m

 

Level II – Swordfish (fundamental aquatic skills)
The course is designed to give participants success with fundamental skills and helps the inexperienced swimmer learn beginning swim skills. Children who have taken a class before can join this one. For those who are just starting, this class is suitable as well.

W  Sundays, 10 – 10:30 a.m.
Wednesdays, 4:30 – 5 p.m.
W  Saturday, 11 – 11:30 a.m

 

Level III – Dolphin (stroke development)
This course builds on the skills in Level II through additional guided practice. For the intermediate swimmer who has completed Level II. Children must be able to swim a short distance using the crawl and backstroke.

W  Sundays, 10:30 – 11 a.m.
Wednesdays, 5 – 5:30 p.m.
W  Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Level IV – Barracuda (stroke improvement)
This course is designed to develop confidence in the skills learned and improves other aquatic skills. For the child who is already swimming freestyle and backstroke. Breaststroke will be introduced.

Sundays, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
W  Wednesdays, 5:30 – 6 p.m.

 

Summer Pre-Swim Team
5 – 16 years
Instructor: Mikhail Iogman
Learn competition-style swimming and become faster and more efficient in your strokes and turns. Testing is required for children new to the program. Prerequisite: must be able to swim one length of the pool using crawl and backstroke.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30-5:15 p.m.
June 19 – August 16 (18 sessions)
Member $450 / Community $612 

 

Saturday Classes: June 23 –August 11 (8 sessions)
Member $176 / Community $240

Sunday Classes: June 24 – August 12 (8 sessions)
Member $176 / Community $240

Wednesday Classes: June 20 – August 15 (8 sessions, No class July 4)
Member $176 / Community $240
