Cooking Up A Dialogue

A culinary experience with Jewish and Arab women
from our sister city, Afula/Gilboa

at a private home

Israeli Jews and Arabs have learned shared existence in Afula/Gilboa, our sister city in Israel by cooking together. Come and hear 4 women’s stories, join the conversation, and learn how to make a few of their traditional dishes. Enjoy the flavors of their heritage as we EAT, SHARE, LAUGH!

Cooking a Dialogue is one of the projects that was founded by Marching Together to a Shared Future, an Israeli citizens’ social movement of Jews, Arabs, and all ethnic groups who wish to live together in mutual respect and civil equality, sharing the burden of civic responsibilities in a manner compatible with the sensibilities of each sector.

Our visiting chefs: Miriam, Galia, Yomna, and Emma
