JCC Maccabi Experience (Ages 13-16)Almost live from Richmond, Virginia ... Team Stamford Updates
What a fabulous week … On the last day of competition at this year’s JCC Maccabi Games the girls soccer team finished in second place, taking home silver medals. Our boys soccer team (a mixed team with the Suffolk JCC) took the bronze. Jillian Katz won a gold medal in recreational tennis, Brandon Temple won silver in recreational tennis, and Danny Soifer won Bronze in competitive tennis. But the medals won by Team Stamford were just the icing on the cake that topped off a fabulous week of athletic competition, community service and high-voltage fun. Mazel tov to everyone who participated in the Games! It’s not too early to start thinking about next summer’s JCC Maccabi Games. If you are a Jewish teen between the ages of 13 and 16 and would like more information, contact coach Mo Concepcion at 203-487-0971 or mconcepcion@stamfordjcc.org.
