B’nai Brith Youth Organization (BBYO)
Grades 8 – 12
The Stamford JCC partners with BBYO, the world’s leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement, to offer Jewish teens the opportunity to connect with one another, volunteer in the community, celebrate their Jewish heritage, prepare for leadership roles, and travel the world together, all within a Jewish context. Teens are given real responsibilities and develop leadership skills that relate to their everyday lives. By practicing public speaking, program planning and community organizing, BBYO teens build the skills that not only make them more confident and capable of navigating the challenging teen years but also prepare them to make positive contributions to the world around them as adults. BBYO meets at the Stamford JCC every other Monday. Membership dues are $149 for all 4 years of high school and 8th grade. For more information, please visit or contact Josh Cohen, Area Field Director BBYO Northeast at or Tyler Pepe, Associate Regional Director, at
