Through capital projects, the Stamford JCC strives to make enhancements and upgrades to better serve the existing community today and provide a high-quality, welcoming and inclusive environment for the community in the future. With an aim to transform our center; modernizing the facilities, updating and repairing 40 year old infrastructure and committing to space maximization so that we can better serve our community.
PROJECTS IN PROGRESS
Locker Room Renovation - PHASE 2 The scope of this project includes
• New Family Locker Rooms that are designed to serve families enjoying our Aquatics, Early Learning, Enrichment, and Camp programs. • New Individual Inclusive and Accessible Shower and Changing Rooms that are designed specifically to serve adults and seniors who may need assistance showering or changing after use of the many Stamford JCC amenities. • New 1300+ sq/ft Multipurpose Studio Space (Studio C) to provide additional program space to meet increased demand for onsite community programs. • Renovated Bathrooms
This is a project for the community; like the multipurpose classroom wing, upstairs locker room project, the gymnasium, and the pool renovations, these are only accomplished by continued philanthropic investments by our community members and generous supporters. Please contact Marshall Kurland, JCC CEO, at mkurland@stamfordjcc.org to get involved in supporting The JCC’s continued transformation.
