HATE: Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech, Not Censorship
We are thrilled to announce our feature author, Nadine Strossen, who will present her most recent book, HATE: Why We Should Resist It with Free Speech, Not Censorship. Ms. Strossen is a civil rights advocate, past president of the ACLU, graduate from Harvard Law School and current professor of law at New York Law School. She sits on the Council on Foreign Relations and many other civil liberties organizations. Ms. Strossen has been called one of the most influential business leaders, women, and lawyers. She has received numerous awards and honors and has appeared on nearly every major U.S. news program, in addition to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. She's even had a Broadway debut. We are honored to have Ms. Strossen part of our Festival to address the issues of free speech, censorship, civil rights and share her experiences.
