Using creative imagery, sing-along songs and classical music, dance props, and short choreographic combinations, you will watch your toddler transform into an inspired young dancer. Other skills practiced in this class: identifying body parts, musicality, level changes, balancing and movement coordination, shape formation, pathways, leading and following, creative expression. This is where gross-motor skills meet ballet technique! (This class is suggested for movers who are walking).

Convening twice a week in 90-minute sessions, Ballet 6/7 is the year in which students undergo a pointe assessment, and allowance of pointe work at the barre is contingent upon the Lead Ballet Instructor's evaluation of the students' strength and technical proficiency. Progression through this level is determined by the advancement in pointe work and ballet technique, guided by faculty recommendations. For further strengthening and advancement, additional supplementary classes are highly recommended.
