KidsPlace is a wonderful and safe environment for children to unwind and have fun after a long day at school. Children are engaged in a variety of structured activities such as sports, arts & crafts, cooking, science, games, music, swimming, storytelling, Shabbat celebrations, teambuilding activities, and much more. For more information, please contact KidsPlace at

At KidsPlace, our experienced and talented staff gives children the freedom to be silly and have fun while also providing structure throughout the day. Homework assistance is available as part of the after-school schedule. Kosher and nut free snacks are provided every day. Each age group is organized and designed to meet the specific needs and interests of the age of the children within the groups. There are many additional classes offered at the JCC for children who are interested in extra curricula activities, such as karate, swimming and dance, all available to KidsPlace participants. Our counselors will escort the children to the classes and back to KidsPlace. KidsPlace participants have the opportunity to use the gym, racquetball courts, the spacious outside fields, the playground, the Gaga pit, the Adult Lounge for cooking projects, the auditorium, and the sports court! Our staff is First Aid, CPR, Epi-Pen trained. Licensed by the State of Connecticut, the KidsPlace after school program is open to JCC members grades K-6.


Homework Help Room
All 1st — 6th graders will have an opportunity to receive guided homework help from some of our most senior staff members in our dedicated homework room!

Need last-minute after-school childcare? We're here to help! KidsPlace is able to accommodate JCC members on a drop-in basis, as long as space is available on the vans. Any member in need of last-minute or emergency childcare is invited to use this option. This service is available to non-KidsPlace registered children, who are JCC members, for a fee of $45 per day for KidsPlace, plus $20 for transportation. Non-KidsPlace registered children can utilize KidsPlace no more than once a month. KidsPlace registered children can use the drop-in service for a fee of $40 per day for KidsPlace, plus $15 for transportation.

KidsPlace Fees
Flexibility is key when planning your child's after-school schedule. At KidsPlace, children can attend from one to five days per week. For more information on fees, please contact KidsPlace at

The JCC offers transportation to the Center from most Stamford Public Schools. The JCC vans, all equipped with seat belts, provide optional transportation to the JCC from the child's school. Along with the driver, each van has a counselor on board to ensure the children's safety. Transportation availability is limited.

Hebrew School Transportation
The JCC can provide members with transportation to Hebrew schools. Children will be picked up at school (within Stamford) and dropped off at their synagogues. For more information on Hebrew school transportation, please contact KidsPlace at
