See your art on display at The JCC!

We invite students in grades K-12 to share their creative talents and enter The JCC’s 3rd Annual Student Art Competition. All eligible entries will be displayed at The Stamford JCC during November and entrants and their families will be invited to an opening reception on Sunday, Nov. 9.

The winning entry in each division – K-4^th, 5^th–8^th, and high school – will receive a prize and will be featured on JCC stationery cards for the coming year.

Second-place, third-place and Fan Favorite(s) will also be awarded.

THEME: "The JCC gives us a place to be ourselves." The JCC is more than just a building; it's a supportive environment where students can discover their passions, make friends, and feel like they belong.

Grades K-4 MEDIUM: Drawing or Painting
Grades 5-12 MEDIUM: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media and/or Textiles

1. Start with a central image. Think about what you love most about the JCC and show that place or activity (e.g., art room, gym, pool, playground, friends, etc.).
2. Surround it with symbols of what the JCC gives you — like friendship, confidence, support, or community.
3. Add a title. Write “The JCC gives me…” and finish the sentence in your own words!
