Enjoy a fun and social daytime session of Mah Jongg and Canasta! Meet new friends, connect with old ones, and enjoy an afternoon of exciting gameplay and camaraderie.  Players are welcome to bring their own lunch.

Please note: No instruction or refreshments are provided for these sessions.  

Mah Jongg and Canasta Rules

Mah Jongg: We play American Mah Jongg and follow the rules of the National Mah Jongg League. Players should bring their current National Mah Jongg League card (new players are welcome to borrow a JCC card for two sessions only). Mah Jongg sets are provided by the JCC, but you are welcome to bring your own if you would like.

Canasta: We play Modern Canasta and follow the rules of the Women’s Cultural Alliance (WCA). Canasta cards and scorepads are provided by the JCC.  We have suggested special hands but ask each table to agree on special hands before the game commences.

Please play with kindness, respect, and good sportsmanship so that everyone enjoys the experience.
