Babysitting at the J

Your morning workout just got one step easier! The Stamford JCC offers babysitting seven days per week, from 8am to 12pm, included in your membership. Care is provided in four one-hour sessions while parents take advantage of the JCC’s facilities.

Capacity: Up to 5 children per session (M-F). Up to 10 children per session (Sa & Su).

Ages: 6 months to 6 years old

Price: Included in Membership

Restrictions: Families are strictly limited to booking reservations in two sessions per day for up to three days per week. They may book up to three reservations in any single one-hour session. Parents must remain on the JCC campus during their babysitting reservation. Reservations are available up to 118 hours (4 days 22 hrs) in advance of the start of the session. Children must be picked up within 5 minutes of the end of the session. Failure to pick children up within 5 minutes of the end of the session may result in a temporary ban from using babysitting.

Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend a babysitting session for which you made a reservation, you must cancel it through the member portal no later than two hours before the start of the session. In consideration of your fellow members, members who miss 2 reservations in 30 days or less will temporarily lose their ability to make reservations for 7 days. JCC Staff will rely on facility entry records, check-ins, and other data to verify reservation attendance.
