PARTICIPATE ONCE • BE INSPIRED FOREVER

JCares

JCares is the heart of our community’s compassion and connection. Inspired by the Jewish values of Repairing the World, Acts of Kindness, and Living in Community, we offer meaningful ways for members to give back and make a real impact. Here, your sense of purpose and belonging can truly flourish.

We are an inclusive and uplifting group, open to anyone who wants to make a difference alongside caring, like-minded members of all ages. Together, we build genuine relationships and share the joy that comes from service. With opportunities to support staff, programs, events, and the wider community, there’s a meaningful place for everyone to get involved.

Service Projects & Collection Drives

Join us in putting our values into action through hands-on service projects and community drives that support our neighbors, strengthen our programs, and make a real impact—together.

Stay tuned for what we have coming up.

Back to School Shop - event for kids in need of support

  10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Each summer, prior to the start of the new school year, Back to School Shop, Inc. creates a one-day pop-up store where children of low-income families from the local community come to shop for their back-to-school clothing and supplies for free.

Volunteers are assigned to work one 5-hour shift during the day. All volunteers will be virtually trained prior to the event. Volunteers must be at least 17 years old. Spanish speakers are always needed.
To donate, click here and specify for Back-to-School Shop.

  • Sign up to volunteer as a coach for our Peace Basketball League.
