The Selkowitz Center for Youth & Family has specialized programming for children in grades K-5. After school programming, enrichment classes, themed events and activities are among our program offerings. We strive to provide opportunities for our youth to socialize and recreate within the safe and nurturing environment of The JCC. Don’t see what you’re looking for below? KidsPlace Kids Night Out Enrichment Classes Vacation Days Youth Class Schedule

KidsPlace

KidsPlace is the ideal after-school experience featuring activities such as outdoor recreation, arts & crafts, group games, social time, and homework help. Activities are led by carefully selected after-school staff and youth professionals in a small group setting.

A Day in the Life

3:30PM Arrive to the JCC via school bus. Check in with KidsPlace supervisors.

3:35PM Snack (Kosher, nut-free and provided by the JCC)

3:45PM Homework Time (varies by age group)

4:05PM Clean up, put items away, prepare for next activity.

4:15PM Kickball on the Field

4:45PM Bathroom Break, Wash Hands, Transition to next Activity

5PM Arts & Craft project

5:30PM Classroom Stations until dismissal

6PM Dismissal

Kids Night Out

Spend your Saturday Nights at The J!
Kids Night Out is our drop off program for grades K – 5. Children will have fun with friends as they rotate between activities, participate in theme offerings or chill-out in our lounge area. Themes and activities will vary between program dates.

Vacation Days @ The J

When school is out, The J is in! Check out any of our Vacation Day Programs for your child's next day off.

Full-Day Vacation Days

Enjoy arts and crafts, nut-free/kosher snacks, and various games and activities around The JCC.

Stamford J Basketball

Players will work on fundamentals including ball handling, passing, shooting, offense, defense & rebounding, and will end in competitive games coached by the Stamford J Basketball coaching staff.

Dance School at The J

Learn to turn, leap, pop, and groove at dance camp! Dancers will have the opportunity to learn two styles of dance technique, as well as try their hand in dance choreography.

Flexible Spending Dependent Care Accounts

Flexible Spending Dependent Care Accounts (FSAs) cover childcare expenses and are great way to save for tuition on a tax-free basis. Ask your employer about FSA eligibility.
