The JCC’S Pre-Swim Team Program is a wonderful way to develop good swimmers into great swimmers. This program prepares swimmers to join our competitive swim team. Learn competition-style swimming to become faster and more efficient in your strokes. Attendance twice a week is mandatory. Private lessons or group classes can be used as a second mandatory practice.

This program is for children who are relatively good swimmers for their ages. Students explore competitive swimming and are encouraged to build endurance and competence. When ready, they advance to Level 2. Attendance twice a week is MANDATORY.

6 years & up
Designed for first-time swim team swimmers who are ready to transition from pre-swim team into a competitive team environment. Swimmers will learn team skills, stroke technique, starts, turns, and basic meet preparation. Participation in swim meets will be available only after coach recommendation and approval based on swimmer readiness.
- Must meet time cuts and other requirements before enrolling
