Early Learning Vacation Days
3 - 5 years
Join us for a day full of arts, crafts, outdoor play, and games. Participants must provide their own lunches and snack. Children MUST be at least 3 years old and fully potty-trained to attend.
If you are a JCC member who is NOT enrolled in the JCC childcare programs (Nursery School, KinderPlace) and are interested, please contact Allison Murphy to discuss availability and required paperwork

Monday, Oct. 12 (Indigenous People’s Day)
Animal Day – Learn about different animals, their habitats, and sounds.
Tuesday, Nov. 3 (Election Day)
Color Day/Red- Wear the color red and enjoy a day of all things Yellow!
Wednesday, Nov. 11 (Veteran’s Day)
Under The Sea- Explore marine life and learn about the ocean.
Thursday, Dec. 24 (Holiday Break)
Pajama Day- Wear pajamas and have cozy day. We’ll have so much fun.
Monday, Dec. 28 (Holiday Break)
Shape Day- Explore various shapes through games and art.
Tuesday, Dec. 29 (Holiday Break)
Cooking Day- Everyone becomes a chef on this day. Let’s learn new words and talk about food
Wednesday, Dec. 30 (Holiday Break)
Dinosaur Day- We’ll have fun with dino eggs and talking about fossils.
Thursday, Dec. 31 (Holiday Break)
New Year’s Eve Celebration – We will celebrate the New Year!
Cancellation Policy
Payment is due in full at the time of registration for a vacation day. Cancellations can be requested NO later than 1 week before the vacation day program date. Credits will not be issued for cancellations made within 1 week of the program date.

Amazing Race Day – Teams compete in challenges, puzzles, races, and crazy activities around the JCC.

Red vs. Blue Challenge Day – Pick a team color and compete in sports, games, trivia, and team challenges.
Wednesday, Nov. 11 • 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Veteran’s Day)
Survivor Day – Work with your team through physical challenges, puzzles, strategy games, and surprises.

Pajama Party Day – Pajamas, games, movies, snacks, competitions, and a cozy day at the JCC.

Game Show Day – Campers become contestants in hilarious game shows featuring trivia, physical challenges, music, and teamwork.

Camp Cook-Off – Teams compete in fun cooking and food challenges to see who can become the ultimate camp chef.
Wednesday, Dec. 30 • 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Holiday Break)
Jurassic Adventure Day – Become dinosaur experts while completing prehistoric challenges, fossil hunts, and dino-themed games.
Thursday, Dec. 31 • 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Holiday Break)
New Year’s Eve Celebration – Celebrate with games, music, challenges, and New Year’s Eve countdown activities.

Description:
Grade 1 - 8 (Boys & Girls)
The focus of our camps is on player skill and I.Q. development. We achieve this through high level coaching, individual player attention, and repetition. The Stamford J Basketball coaching staff includes local high school and AAU coaches and former college and professional players. Players will work on fundamentals including ball handling, passing, shooting, offense with and without the ball, defense & rebounding, and more. Each session will end in competitive games coached by the Stamford J Basketball coaching staff. Players should bring a snack and lunch.

Age groups will be split up
Enjoy your day-off from school with the Arts! Children enrolled in our vacation days will enjoy a morning filled with 2 performing arts activities and 1 fine-arts or craft activity. Performing Activities will be announced a few weeks before each vacation day and may include activities from the following options: Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Theater, Acting. All attending students must bring with them a kosher style & Nut-free lunch and snack, water bottle, and appropriate dance attire to match activities listed for the day (for example: ballet class requires ballet slippers, leotard, and tights.
