Monday, Jan. 19 (Martin Luther King Dr. Day)
Music Day- We will introduce different musical instruments and genres.

Friday, Feb. 13 (Mid Winter Vacation)
Friendship Day- The day will be focused on how to be a good friend and being kind.

Monday, Feb. 16 (Mid Winter Vacation)
Camping Day- We will have an indoor camping day and learn about nature.

Friday, Mar. 20 (No School)
Science Day- A day for wonder and discovery! We’ll explore simple, hands on experiments. 

Thursday, Apr. 2 (Passover) 
Springtime Day - We will learn about all things spring including plants, butterflies, and a spring scavenger hunt.

Friday, Apr. 3 (Passover)
Zoo Day- We will talk about what we see at the zoo and learn about a variety of animals.

Monday, Apr. 6 (Passover) 
Fairy Tale Day- We will read fairy tales and talk about how they are different from regular stories we’ve read.

Tuesday, Apr. 7 (Passover) 
Insect Day- Learn about bugs and their roles in nature.

Wednesday, Apr. 8 (Passover) 
Beach Day- We will bring beach fun indoors and learn about sand and the ocean.

Thursday, Apr. 9 (Passover) 
Rainbow Day- We will explore rainbows and create our own.

Friday, Apr. 10 (Passover) 
Rhyming Day- A playful day all about words that sound alike! We’ll explore rhyming through songs, silly stories, and fun games.

Cancellation Policy
Payment is due in full at the time of registration for a vacation day. Cancellations can be requested NO later than 1 week before the vacation day program date.  Credits will not be issued for cancellations made within 1 week of the program date.

Description:

Grade 1 - 8 (Boys & Girls)

The focus of our camps is on player skill and I.Q. development. We achieve this through high level coaching, individual player attention, and repetition. The Stamford J Basketball coaching staff includes local high school and AAU coaches and former college and professional players. Players will work on fundamentals including ball handling, passing, shooting, offense with and without the ball, defense & rebounding, and more. Each session will end in competitive games coached by the Stamford J Basketball coaching staff. Players should bring a snack and lunch.

Enjoy your day-off from school with the Arts! Children enrolled in our vacation days will enjoy a morning filled with 2 performing arts activities and 1 fine-arts or craft activity. Performing Activities will be announced a few weeks before each vacation day and may include activities from the following options: Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Theater, Acting. All attending students must bring with them a kosher style & Nut-free lunch and snack, water bottle, and appropriate dance attire to match activities listed for the day (for example: ballet class requires ballet slippers, leotard, and tights).

Friday, Mar. 20 • NYC: Great Big Game Show 
Join us as we head to NYC and compete in the Great Big Game Show. In this immersive experience, we will participate in our very own game show, just like the ones we see on TV! As always, we will take the train into the Grand Central and navigate the city via Subway. A pizza lunch will be provided.
